How to Use the Calculator

Example Scenarios

Scenario 1: Full Selling (All Shares Sold)

  • Buy Price per Share: ₹100
  • Total Shares Bought: 10
  • Sell Price per Share: ₹120
  • Shares Sold: 10

Calculation:

  • Investment Cost = ₹100 × 10 = ₹1,000
  • Selling Value = ₹120 × 10 = ₹1,200
  • Profit = ₹200 (20%)

Scenario 2: Partial Selling (Some Shares Sold)

  • Buy Price per Share: ₹200
  • Total Shares Bought: 50
  • Sell Price per Share: ₹250
  • Shares Sold: 20

Calculation:

  • Investment Cost for Sold Shares = ₹200 × 20 = ₹4,000
  • Selling Value = ₹250 × 20 = ₹5,000
  • Profit = ₹1,000 (25%)
